DISCLAIMER: I don't own Gregory House, James Wilson, or any of the other characters of House. I also don't own Harry Potter or Ginny Weasley. They belong to David Shore (I think) and JKR respectively, and I only borrowed them for a little while. I didn't make any money off this, nor do I intend to.
FANDOM: House, M.D./Harry Potter crossover
PAIRING: House/Wilson, Harry/Ginny
RATING: There's nothing explicit, so it should be okay. Damn the movie people for getting pissy about using their rating system. It was so much quicker.

hawkeyecat, though this is the first incarnation of her Jealous!House request. Unbeta'd, to boot. I apologize in advance for it sucking. I also apologize in advance for the sucky title.

House pondered the CT scan, not looking particularly pleased or pissed, but just... thinking.
The patient this time was a twenty-five year old male, Caucasian, black hair, green eyes with an opaque red sheen.
Blind, with no apparent reason behind it.
He seemed well-adjusted enough to his condition, holding on to a white cane and smiling politely to the ducklings. He said that the blindness had been progressive over the past few years.
The red sheen in Harry Potter's irises told a different story, and House was determined to find out what it was.
He heard the glass rattle as the door swung open, and Wilson step inside. "Hey, House. How's the Potter case going?"
House scowled. "We've run scans, and we're waiting for the bloodwork to come back, but so far, nada. Foreman's bound and determined to prove that it's non-magical."
"He's always been the skeptic." Wilson shrugged. "Chase and Cameron?"
"Cameron's doting on him like he's a sick puppy, and Chase is guessing that it's a permanent form of the Conjunctivitus Curse."
"But that wouldn't cause opaqueness in the irises," Wilson pointed out. "And that's if you could even find a way to make it permanent."
House sighed and put the CT scan down on his desk, rubbing his eyes. "Trust me, it's possible." He raised an eyebrow at Wilson. "So, is this a social call, or is there something important you need to tell me?"
"Just that his girlfriend's here." Wilson shrugged. "She's listed as her next-of-kin and she's already demanding to know what's happened to him."
House snorted. "Wonderful. At least we've got Cameron to butter her up if we have to do anything risky."
"Any ideas on what it might be?" Wilson cocked his head.
House pursed his lips. "Well, I'm thinking macular edema, or he could just have a good ol' case of demonic possession. Still debating that one."
Wilson nodded.
House glowered at him. "I know that look."
"Look?" Wilson blinked, the smirk that had crept across his face dissolving like butter under a blowtorch. "What look?"
"That *look*," House snorted. "The one that's already planning out the panty peeler line. What's she look like? Blonde? Nice rack?"
"Natural redhead, modest chest," Wilson admitted with an embarrassed look. "And no, that wouldn't be ethical."
"And you've been concerned about this before, when?" House raised both eyebrows inquiringly.
Wilson glared at him. "I've never cheated on my wife, House."
"Oh, and when we first got here, you wanting to sleep with me was what? A fling for old times' sake?"
Wilson snorted. "You're jealous."
"I am not." House rolled his eyes. "Whoever you want to steal away from their boyfriend isn't my problem anymore. You should do it. Maybe then you'll stop being so moody."
"Oh, right," Wilson scoffed. "And stealing away his girlfriend while we're treating him is going to do wonders for the hospital's reputation."
"But this is True Love, Wilson," House sneered. "You like to go all out for that. Add some melodrama."
Wilson shook his head. "If we're talking about melodrama, you're the one who gave me an ultimatum and left, House."
"You needed to grow up," House snapped.
"And you needed to get your head out of your ass," Wilson snapped back. "If you're jealous of her, *do* something about it instead of curling up in some dank corner of your cave and crying about it."
House sneered, gingerly levering himself to his feet and getting a firmer grip on his cane. "I've gotta pee."
Wilson snorted, standing as well. "Nice." When House tried to pass him, he smoothly stepped into his path. "If you ever want to change your mind, you know where to find me."
"You're still married, or does that suddenly not matter anymore?"
"What part of 'my marriage sucks' do you not understand?" Wilson returned easily.
"Then get a divorce," House snapped. "I'm not making a move until you're a free man."
"Never liked sharing?" Wilson asked.
"Never liked having to kill anybody for what's *mine*," House murmured in a threatening tone. "Though, for Julie, I might make an exception. Now, move. I wasn't kidding about needing to pee."

I love that exchange!
Hee, House would so be jealous, constantly. And of Ginny? Haha, nice.

Date: 2005-08-12 10:50 pm (UTC)After a bit of talking,
We've got a great deal of House/Wilson already, but not too much in the way of Harry Potter included. ::shrug::
We might or might not be able to/want to rectify that.
Either way, if we ever manage to get it into manageable fics and posted, I could point you in the general direction, if you feel so inclined. ^_^

Date: 2005-08-13 04:15 pm (UTC)I have a feeling the only real "fic" we've put together so far, with a noticeable beginning and middle (and a possible end), is the Disowned bunny.

Date: 2005-08-13 04:19 pm (UTC)A lot of parts of others are usable--and really good--even if we will need to edit a lot.
no subject
Date: 2005-08-13 04:30 pm (UTC)Other than that, we'll need to figure out where in the timeline we want to start, how to structure the fics, and so on. It might be good to write out the attack on House, and maybe even as far back as Wilson coming to Hogwarts and meeting House, but as for now, it's more like bonus cookies instead of necessary proteins and carbs.

Date: 2005-08-13 03:53 pm (UTC)And from what little I've seen of House (the series) if House treated Julie like he does some of his patients, she'd run off for sure.
Which reminds me, I just have to comment: When they were doing the episode about the overweight girl who had a heart attack, why did they put fat makeup on a thin girl? I must admit, I only saw the first half of the episode, but I was wondering about that.

Date: 2005-08-13 04:13 pm (UTC)As for HEAVY (the episode of which you speak), the show did the very questionable thing of curing the girl of being fat.
Yes. They actually did that.
Basic run-through: They go through a whole bunch of things that it isn't, as per usual. Poor kid get lesions on fatty tissues -- at one point, Mom is faced with possible cutting off of daughter's breasts.
CAUSE: Cushing's disease. A tumor behind the eye or something like that, and it was causing her obesity as well as the other symptoms.
As soon as the tumor's removed and a week or so goes by, she comes back to the hospital and is VERY skinny.
It's annoying, because both of my sisters are overweight, and the episode was basically saying, "Hey, look, we can cure being fat!"

Fic: Relationships
Date: 2006-03-19 11:16 am (UTC)I love the way the you've brought the worlds together.
The Conjunctivitis Curse seems a very Chase suggestion.
It doesn't really feel like a finished fic at all. But the scene does resolve very nicely for House and Wilson.
