There are times when he has to remind himself that he hates the flashy bastard.
Like the way Shanks laughs, his lips smacking as he finishes off a bottle of rum stolen from the cook’s stores.
Like the way those brown eyes stare into his, deep and penetrating, like there’s nothing that he can ever hide from him.
Like the way those hands hold him close, warm touches in the dark that soothe and flash at the same time.
He hates the flashy asshole. He swears he does. Really.
But for now... a case of selective amnesia sounds pretty good.
