"So, Mike, where's your girlfriend?"

And so it started. The questions, the looks from sisters and female cousins, the calculating gazes as they tried to imagine him with their friends.

He'd been thinking a long time about this, and while he didn't relish the thought of possible excommunication by the family at large, at least he wouldn't have to deal with these kinds of questions anymore. If he was lucky, he wouldn't have to attend any more weddings either.

"Sorry, ladies," Mike answered, grinning, "I'm taken."

Lennie raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Mike snorted. "Just shut up and kiss me already."

I noticed your icon and felt compelled to come see if you'd written any Mike/Lennie (since good early season L&O slash is hard to come by) and was rather thrilled to find that you'd also written B&B, Blackadder and SVU. I'm sorry if I worried you! I'm not scary, I promise.

Btw, how'd you get into Mike/Lennie? I know other authors who've written stuff, but I have no idea if you've seen it, or if the authors want the stories to be public knowledge, or something like that. Bwah. :)
