DRABBLE: Curiouser and Curiouser [L&O: TOS/L&O: CI]
TITLE: Curiouser and Curiouser
DISCLAIMER: Despite the fact that these are fairly useless, Mike Logan, Carolyn Barek, and James Deakins don't belong to me. They belong to Dick Wolf and NBC. I made no money off of this, and it's just a labor of love.
PAIRING: Lennie Briscoe/Mike Logan implied
RATING: Everyone could read this and not come away scarred.
WARNING(S): Um, implied slash?
WORD COUNT: 100. Because it's a drabble.
NOTES: Unbeta'd, relatively not edited, and a bit sucky. I'm sorry!
It was an innocent photograph, but there was significance to it. Barek knew it in her bones. In the pool hall, Logan had mentioned a friend being a great man with a stick who would've disapproved of his breaking it in half. The older man in the photograph had to be him.
But there had been something more in Logan’s voice, something beyond fondness for a friend...
Barek looked up to see Logan walking out of Deakins' office, making a beeline for their desks. She put the picture back where she'd found it.
Detective Mike Logan was very curious, indeed.
