A Finnish author once suggested that we have the Russians to blame for teaching us to drink until we drop (the Swedes aren't for that kind of thing, the Norwegians are to far away, the Estonians have probably learned it from the Russians themselves), but he probably just tried to evade responsibility ;). Depression is probably something we came up with to pass the time during the winters, and is futile now that we have electric lamps, the internet and colour tv.
Now I've got to be off to the land of nod. *gives Scotty and Chekov a last pat and leaves*
