I've come across too many fics where recognizable characters turn into porn stars or whatever because omghawt, whereas I want to see the guys as themselves.
My thoughts exactly, particularly about seeing the characters as themselves. I mean, if I wanted to see characterisation sacrificed in favour of the porn I could as well, perhaps, be reading or watching original porn? I've always cared more about how these specific two/three/whathaveyou people would act like in intimate situations and definitely less about the hawwwt.
I really should write a sequel to this, with Scotty doing one for Chekov. :D
