Dude, you seriously don't have to apologize. I've done that all the time. Hell, there are at least three different ideas I should be working on in three different fandoms, and what am I doing? I'm goofing around the st_xi_kink meme thing, which makes this a fourth fandom I'm playing in. I mean, hell, I've posted three different stories already (and I have an OTP to boot, though there's a second pairing that's slowly getting my attention).
As for playing with divergences and such in a fandom, I definitely know that kind of love. There was a time of an entire college semester where a former friend and I were playing with a crossover (House and Harry Potter), as well as a variation of an idea a friend came up with in '03, and an extensive kid!fic universe, all in House.
Either way, readers come and go, they have RL interfering or their own happy imaginations. I have missed your comments because they're usually so enthusiastic and thought-out, but I'm glad that you were willing to stick through with the series until the end. In the end, that's all I really like -- that someone wanted to read my stories, and that they were satisfying and enjoyable. And metric fucktons of feedback, but that's kind of a different monster. ;)
Also, you stayed up until 4:40am to finish the series? Eeep, I hope you got enough rest! *worries* I'm very flattered that you wanted to finish the series, though. *blush*
So, tl;dr? Hi! Glad you enjoyed. Thank you for reading, and you made me a happy writer because you commented. <3
