I'm glad that you enjoyed the fic. I figured that after centuries of non-touch, and one too-brief bout of mortality, Bob's sense of touch would be starving for things to feel -- hard, soft, smooth, bumpy, grainy, slick, anything.
As for what Bob saw during the soulgaze, I dunno how long it'll be until he tells Harry the whole thing. Harry doesn't want to know what his soul is like because he's scared, so he might cut Bob off if Bob were to try to tell him about it.
