Nix! Hi! *waves*

*grins and waves back* I really vanished for quite awhile there. My brain, it was not in a happy place. But all is well now!

I really liked the mental image of Harry cleaning Bob's skull because I don't remember encountering it in fanfic before

I don't think I have, either, although I have seen plenty of fics playing on the idea of just touching it. But not cleaning, and you'd think after a few centuries that it would pick up some crud. *g*

He puts in precisely the power he needs, but when he throws the spell, whatever he's throwing it at is done.

*nods* Very efficient. Definitely seems Bob-like. *g*

In another series I have in the works

Ooooooh. *grins* *revels in the idea of more fic*

Then again, considering that when he was learning magic in the first place, he had a ghost for a teacher, it wasn't like the ghost could adequately demonstrate how the energies would flow by being able to physically show Harry.

And this turned my brain around and wonders if Bob ever feels that he's failed Harry as a teacher because he couldn't work with him in a "hands on" kind of fashion. *grins* Oh, the angst one can get out of having an intangible character, if one so chooses.

This being Harry, however, he's still going to think that.

I think everyone wants to do their teacher proud, even if they aren't in love with them. :-)
