I can't believe I haven't replied to this comment earlier! Gah!
Bob and Ebenezar didn't know that the other man was an important of Harry's life, and I wanted there to be some friction (at least initially) because not everyone that Harry loves is going to like each other, I guess. It was more interesting to have Bob narrowing his eyes and sneering away at Ebenezar, and Ebenezar realizing just who "Bob" is. *^^*
I figure that if they got to know each other better, outside of their respective reputations are Hrothbert of Bainbridge and Blackstaff for the High Council, they'd understand each other better, and both end up shaking their heads over Harry being a sweet if foolish dear heart.
If Bob ever heard about just how much Harry was doubting how good it is for Bob, I think Bob would smack him? Quite possibly? Or do the verbal equivalent? <3
