It was a lot smaller/quieter than past years. Between the economy, the price of gas, and the fact that the Con Comm didn't get the room reservations out until just one month before the con, a lot of people didn't go. But I had a good time. I got to see a lot of friends, and met some folks in person for the first time. And the two comics panels that I went to were a lot of fun. Small (seven or eight people plus me), but we were all interested and friendly. And I don't think I talked too much. :-)
I didn't find any art I wanted to buy, which is unprecedented, but the silver lining there is that I now have way more money to blow spend at ComicCon in July. *g*
...hey, I just realized that there are Dresden Files comics now. Maybe Jim Butcher will be at ComicCon! Maybe there will be promotional stuff! I can hope. :-) *checks his website* He IS going to be there! Whoot!
