I'm glad that this story worked too. I had started out going by the TV canon, but the trouble was, I loved the book canon so much that I really couldn't help including Ebenezar. Of course, this was written before Ebenezar's connection with Harry was revealed, but Ebenezar himself seemed like the kind of guy that any Harry would benefit from knowing, whether or not Bob had acted like a mentor figure to him when he was younger.
