In the TV series, Bob is one of the biggest reasons why Harry doesn't become an evil black sorcerer (at least, that's my theory)
I think that's more than a theory, I think that's a safe assumption! :-) Especially given what we know of Justin. He was basically grooming Harry to be evil. At 12 years old, Harry was still damn impressionable. Given that we have heard nothing of other significant influences in his life, TV canonically, then it had to be Bob's influence that kept him grounded.
so it's interesting to navigate the minefield of, "What if Harry had a crush on his teacher?" along with his character development. :D
*g* So true! On the one hand, it increases Bob's influence. On the other hand, it adds tension and a certain lack of openness to an important relationship.
There is more fic, if you're interested in reading?
I've already gotten there, I'm just more deliberate about feedback than I am about actually reading. *g*
Eee, thank you for the feedback. It is my crack. <3
You're welcome! I know how much feedback means to an author. :-)
