I wonder from where they came, and what they are. Are you going to explain about them in another fic? I know I read a story, in Wraithbait, where Radek and Carson were a couple and one night, a winged, Carson took Radek to flight around the city.
A congenital malformation could explain appendages looking like wings but, not necessarily the feathers. I don't try to be dense, really, it's just that they fill my mind with questions and since I like adventure and mystery, I want to know why Carson has wings. He may have more secrets, or the other ATA carriers could.
