This made me laugh out loud. Oh man. The incredulity George is met with when he admits that he'd accepted the proposal.
I loved this line here: "He's a *general*," George replied as patiently as he could, but it was getting rather difficult with the shell-shocked look on the chap's face. "I didn't feel I could really refuse."
